GRANDER supports Access to Clean Drinking Water in Cambodia
New drinking fountain and clean potable water for about 3,000 people in Phnom Toch
Fritz Kieninger talked about KAKIHE, its well-digging projects, and the "Five Bridges Run" organized to collect funds for clean drinking water projects in Cambodia, which was held in Upper Austria to the eighth time in 2018.
Deeply touched by Fritz Kieninger´s accounts, the GRANDER consultants decided on the spot to privately donate money to sponsor a well. As the funds collected were not quite sufficient, GRANDER contributed the remaining amount, enabling Fritz Kieninger to dig another well in Cambodia in 2019.
Company head Johann Grander also donated a GRANDER Inline Unit to the organization, which has already been installed in the health center in the village of Phnom Toch in the province of Kampot. in 2018, 288 children were born in this health center. For them, clean drinking water is vital. The drinking fountain offering GRANDER revitalized water does not only cater to the little patients but also provides access to clean drinking water to the about 3,000 inhabitants of the village and its surroundings.
